Anglesey is dotted with prehistoric monuments and the island's entire coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the rocky cliffs in the north to the sandy beaches of the south – a paradise for bird watchers and walkers. Beaumaris is the largest town on the island and boasts some fine Georgian and Victorian architecture. It is also the site of one of the greatest of the Welsh castles and the Museum of Childhood Memories with its fascinating collection of toys through the ages. A children's farm park, the sea zoo, the island's famous racing circuit, golf, riding, water sports and Snowdonia's exciting variety of outdoor pursuits are all easily accessible as are day trips to Ireland.
Shops, pubs and Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the railway station with the longest name in the world, are just 3 miles away.
